Okay, it's been a month on the ten songs. They were evidently more obscure than I'd thought. Terrycloth knew 'The Wire' by Peter Gabriel; Plushlover knew 'Echoes' by Pink Floyd, and Butterscotch knew 'Revolution #9', by the Beatles, and 'Let there be More Light' by Pink Floyd. The rest are:

"Weia! Waga! Woge, du Welle!"
That would be Weia! Waga! Woge, du Welle!, by Wagner :) It's from Das Rheingold

"I looked out my window: A cloud was grimly forming.
Waiting for the rain I saw: The one dark cloud forming."
Grimly Forming by The Great Society. This is the band that Grace Slick was in before the Jefferson Airplane. White Rabbit and Somebody to Love were originally theirs. I have a treasured bootleg of them from 1966 at the Fillmore West. I'm not too surprised that people didn't know this one.

4. Well I am a moron, and this is my wife.
She's frosting a cake with a paper knife.
Flakes!, by Frank Zappa.

6. I can hear Atlantis, full of cheer!
1983, by Jimi Hendrix.

8. Come boys! Let's all be gay, boys!
The Drinking Song, from The Student Prince.

10. You might hear them in the distance, with your ear to the ground.
Watership Down, by America.
