Many years ago (1991, IIRC) I moved out into the country, and got satellite television. What was great about satellite TV in the old days was that you could watch anything, and most of it was free and unencrypted. The very first program I watched was a news feed from New York. The story that I recall yet was a fellow who tried to use a knife to rob a gun store. Being New Yorkers, they didn't stop at one shot. The entire front of the store was more or less blown out :)

Ohio State Fair is going to have performing Parrots this year! Also a sword swallower, and miniature Horses.

Tonight on the way to work I was delayed by a truck that had had a truly spectacular crash. Traffic was backed up for several miles, since we all had to squeeze into two lanes to get by the wreckage. I'm bemused yet by the fellow in the next lane. It's a lovely warm, rainy night, so a lot of us had our windows down. This guy was screaming "This is BULLSHIT!!", raging and beating his steering wheel. It's not just that he was unhappy at being delayed, but that he really seemed to expect that if he made an impressive enough display of anger, the situation would somehow change.
