Oct. 17th, 2006 06:45 amGood Lord. The Spheres is still alive. Earlier today I had occasion to compile TinyMUSH, and started poking about for pre-written code, and thus I found (again) The Spheres. It's kind of like opening a box in one's closet, and finding some long-forgotten bit of technology that once seemed like it might change the world.

For those who've not heard, I've shed myself of my staff duties with Morphicon. I had a very good time doing that for three years, and I think people had a good time with the things that I thought up, but now my life is changing.

The Chinese seem to be suddenly building fences all along the Korean border. I think they're expecting the Beloved Leader to be overthrown. I should've written to ask for my inspirational plaster bust when I had the chance.
If there is a revolution in North Korea, I'm sure they'll go utterly berserk. When the lid's been kept on that tight, for that long, the people literally won't have any concept of self-restraint. Someone's likely to have the Beloved Leader's actual head on the mantel for an inspiring curio instead of just a plaster bust.
