Terribly foggy here ATM, but the snow seems to be done, and the temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s for the next week or so, so one can't complain.

What would suck would be if the snow all fell at once, as a solid blanket. Houses would be built like pointy-roofed bunkers. When the sky darkened, and the klaxons began to blow, people would all run for the snow shelters.
About this time of year, as the snow melted, we'd start to find the frozen corpses of the ones who didn't make it to the shelters in time...
