So, about two weeks back, I posted about how there are only 17 drivers left who started a front-engined car at the Five Hundred. I knew I was missing a few. I found out today that Art Malone is still alive. So, Art Malone, Bobby Unser and Jim McElreath - that's the 1964 Novi team, all alive. I'm sure you could have gotten lucrative odds against that in the spring of '64. Andy Granatelli's still around too, for that matter. I really need to see about getting some addresses, and getting autographed pictures.
