Was there ever a cooler name for a company than 'General Atomic'?
In some way, I'm gathering together symbols of power from the Cold War. I still carry some residual anxiety from those days, and having the items of protection reassures me.

Whatever happened to tax stamps on liquor? When I was in high school, liquor bottles always had a tax stamp glued across the cap. They don't have 'em now, and the folx at the liquor store had no idea what I was talking about when I asked.
Apparently they stopped using those in 1985.
