Jun. 25th, 2012 09:37 pmSo, I forgot to celebrate National Swastika Rehabilitation Day. Good luck with that, I suppose. They mean well.
When I was little, there was this one building that we'd go past sometimes that had swastikas worked into the tile entryway. My grandmother explained that they used to be just a popular graphic design when she was little, but it still weirded me out. At the age of five, things have always been that way, and the idea that the world might change with time is a theoretical one at best.

So, I upgraded Ubuntu, and now suddenly when I open FireFox, I get a tiled 'favourites' page reminiscent of what one sees with Android. It's an interesting design convergence.

austin_dern and bunny_hugger the other day, using their wedding registry on Amazon, which BH told me they had. I bumbled around a bit at first in their individual registries until I discovered the wedding registry. I wasn't aware you could just go and look at someone's lists like that - sometimes I'm very slow to catch onto things. Then it occurred to me to wonder if Chris had one - he had. I wish I'd given him more presents when I had the chance. He did enjoy that fursuit, I know, and I'm so glad I gave that to him. So, when various people are getting more stuff from me now - that's why.
