Replacement Time

So, those factories where ICE rounded up the 680 illegals last week had a job fair Monday to try and replace their workers. They got about 30 applicants. One suspects that it was not for lack of the locals being aware that there were vacancies. One also suspects that they'll need to increase the pay and benefits, or offer better working conditions, or both, to employ honest people.

Their statement that their payscale is average for the area is a bit disingenious, since that area average apparently included large numbers of illegals willing to settle for whatever they could get.
