Qoons 'n Froot!

I picked four pears yesterday evening, but forgot and left them on the side steps. Today two were gone entirely, and one of the remaining ones had a small bite out of it. I suspect that the Raccoons have been to visit - Qoons or Possums, I should imagine. I left the two remaining pears out for them tonight.

I'm tempted to put out a dish of Meow Mix* for them, and see if I can get them tame enough to let me watch them eat.

Before the apple tree out back finally died, it wasn't unusual to wake of an autumn morning to find the back yard full of deer, munching apples as they peer nervously about to make sure no-one's coming.

* While I have never known Qoons to ask for it by name, they pretty much universally seem to love the stuff.
