The BBC's colour page about New Hampshire shows the old license plate with the late Barney Rubble on it :D (At least, I'm assuming they took that off after the mishap).

It looks as though Andrew Yang has packed it in. That's a pity. He, along with Tulsi Gabbard, is one of the few in that field that I'd give a nickel for as POTUS. (I *like* Bernie, a lot - he's a fiery, trouble-making old crank after my own heart - but I'd never vote for him ^1).

^1 With the caveat that if there's no clear winner by May 5th (Indiana primary), I may cross over and do my bit to help the Donkey Team have an exciting convention.

*****

Roque de la Fuente's running for both parties in NH this time! 21% in, and he has zero votes (the only one with none) in the D primary. In the R primary, he's already got 14!

*****

And Michael Bennet folds. Probably a good few hundred people all across America are disappointed.

*****

You won't see Roque de la Fuente dropping out! He stuck it out in 2016 too. He just now got one D vote, which will certainly encourage him to greater efforts in the coming contests.

Friend Fruitbat remarks that he can just picture the fellow, one hand resting on the jeweled hilt of his rapier, cackling in triumph as he twirls his moustache!

*****

Half way. Mayor Pete may, possibly, be gonna pull this out. He's down by only 3% to Bernie, 26.5% to 23.5%. Klobuchar is surprisingly close too. She may well break 20%.

*****

Steyer's building momentum. His commercials have been on every channel, pretty much 24/7 since Christmas. Only 1% in Iowa, and pushing 3% tonight! I take this as evidence that there are at least 3% of the population that will believe anything if they see it in a TV commercial. That's actually much better than I thought.

*****

Mayor Pete is within 2% of Bernie at 70% reporting, but it seems to have stabilized at that. Still 2% at 75% returns.

*****

Whoa! Bernie's rallygoers actually booed Pete, rather lustily, deriding him as 'Wall Street Pete' when he came on TV to urge party unity no matter who won. Didn't see that coming. Pete's within 1.25% at 78% reporting.

I love the little kid at the left. He's all "I could be home playing video games..." That, or he wanted to go to the Roque de la Fuente rally.

*****

Over, for practical purposes. Delegate haul was 9 Bernie, 9 Pete, 6 Klobuchar for the D side. Ol' Herr Drumpf swept the board, and got the most votes ever for a Republican incumbent. Roque de la Fuente beat Raymond Moroz in the D race (10 votes to 9), and got almost 150 altogether!
