So, the excitement is pretty much over, it seems. Kosciusko County had one dead, and nine who had to go to hospital, out of a total 62 positive cases. The county population is around 79,500, so that's a diagnosed infection rate of 7.8 E-4. The actual infection rate is almost certainly higher, but one assumes by the hospitalization rate that most cases are mild, or un-noticed.

Statewide, the deaths are still in the low 20s each day, but that's coming primarily out of Indianapolis and Gary. By and large, in America at least, this seems to be a disease of the cities.

I'm going to continue wearing my mask when I go into town, for nothing else than that the governor wants us to. You really don't appreciate how good of a governor you have until something like this comes along.
