So... I'd been vaguely aware of the Lori Vallow affair, to the extent that I knew it was about a woman suspected of killing her kids. It sounded depressing and tawdry, so I avoided it. Today, I ran across a summary in a different context, and read it, and O. M. G....!! This is quite possibly one of the most fucked-up cases I've ever heard of. Dead people right and left^1, the Second Coming of Christ (scheduled for July, 2020, apparently), and the reincarnation of a wife of Joseph Smith (the original Mormon guy). It's not quite so lurid as the Manson Family, but then what is?
