Oct. 26th, 2021 06:12 pmI got my Moderna booster Saturday, as did the Maternal Parent. I was surprised at how mild and short-lived the side-effects were, especially when compared to my second shot. Mother, as is usual for her, suffered nothing but a sore arm. I had a slight fever and headache, but it was over in a day.
I'm fortunate to have gotten my entire sequence with Moderna, which is plainly the best of the bunch. Originally I wanted Pfizer, chiefly because its demanding storage requirements made it seem cooler. I can be very shallow.

It looks as though this Rittenhouse fellow may get a fair trial after all. While I'm delighted for his sake, I sorrow that my country has become such that I am somewhat surprised at such a development. One never used to have to doubt or wonder.

They're talking about putting this actor on trial for accidentally shooting that guy. Admittedly, I've not paid much attention to the whole affair, but I can't see how that could be his fault. He was handed a gun, and told it was a prop. It's like the beginning of a Perry Mason episode.
