Jan. 13th, 2007 10:19 pm It's black hearted villainy as usual in the Senate. What you have to understand to fully appreciate this is that the Club for Growth is a bunch of hardcore supply-side Republicans. Watching them cheer on Nancy Pelosi drives home how badly out of control the budget has gotten these last six years.

Michael Jackson owes his pharmacy $100k for drugs since December 2005. What legal drug is there that costs $2000 a week?

So, the Colts triumphed today in the Battle of the Place Kickers, with neither side scoring a touchdown. I'm told that hasn't happened since 1979.

Thursday my car's cooling system blew out. It wasn't that much of a shocker, as I'd been smelling coolant when I ran the heater for the past couple months, and knew it was coming. Anyway, for a variety of reasons, the repair place couldn't get the correct replacement radiator before this morning. I decided to walk home and back while it was being fixed, rather than sit around for several hours. There's something neat about walking along in the rain. Alum Creek was overflowing its banks onto the bicycle path, and everything was just cool, dim and wet.
When I got in my fixed car and took off my coat, I steamed, exactly like a horse who's been worked out. That pleased me }:=]
Anyway, I've marched along at about 3mph for 6.5 miles today, which is much more than usual for me. I'm surprised that I'm not sore. I should walk more often, honestly, and I'd be in better shape.

Date: 2007-01-14 04:26 am (UTC)I wondered about that, but I don't think AIDS drugs are that expensive. I have a hard time imagining Jackson getting AIDS anyway, given what's known of his sexual practices. There may be a number of issues there, but I don't think he's running a real big risk for STDs.
