So, Deb Pryce has bailed. That's unexpected, especially considering how hard she fought against Mary Jo Kilroy last fall. There's more to this than meets the eye. You don't run a campaign like that of 2006, then decide less than a year later that you've got more important things to do than be in Congress.

This is curious. Two recent reports, widely separated, of UFOs that appeared to be made from sticks:

It is possible that no one with an (R) after their name will win next year.  The Repubs may go the way of the Whigs, where being associated with the party was a kiss of death for a campaign.  I expect that the DLC will split off into a new party ("Centrists") and any remaining decent Republicans will switch to it.
