rain_gryphonWRT the entire Chick Fillet thing, I'm still having trouble getting past the idea that if someone wants to use the government to deny a particular group of people the right to marry, that's just democracy working as intended; but if someone wants to use the government to shut down a particular fast food chain, that's a frightening and sinister misuse of democracy.

For some reason, the Olympics just aren't holding my attention this year. I was so excited to see them go to London, and now when they're there, it just isn't working for me. Part of it's NBC's shitty coverage, certainly, but I also think part of it is Chris being gone, although I'm hard-pressed to see how that works. He was never a major fan of the Olympics.
