Nike has dropped Oscar Pistorious from their advertising, which I suppose is understandable. What's far less comprehensible is why a shoe company would use a man with no feet in their advertisements to begin with. Have we finally reached that point where the advertising is done entirely for its own sake, and has no connection at all to the product?
