So, the DNC Chairman thinks Iowa should have a do-over. Words are pretty well failing me at this point.

Ya know, there's a reason why pretty much everyone in the computer science field, EXCEPT the sales people, think computerized voting is a pretty stupid idea.

Paper ballots, fill in the bubbles, optically scanned, work pretty darn good. Count the results by hand, type the results into a database, database reports the summary.

Pretty well proven tech.

Oh, that’s SOP now.

Annoyed Dems dismiss recount as ‘waste of time’” - 11/28/2016

I think it started with A Gore and the chads in Florida.

The clusterfuck that was Iowa was supremely satisfying to me, particularly how the state party employed a delegate selection process whereby a candidate could lose the popular vote and still win in the final delegate assignment.

By the way, did you see the video of the Iowa caucus participant demanding that the ballot she cast for Pete be returned to her once she found out that Buttigieg was gay, and subsequently being refused, and then being shamed for her biblical Christian beliefs... by another Christian?

Oh, I'm about ass-deep in schadenfreude at this point, yeah.

I read about that, yeah. She obviously didn't put much work into deciding who to support. That's one of the failings of universal suffrage.
