This is just plain weird. Triplets born in Mexico already infected with coronavirus, but neither parent has any trace of the disease, not even as asymptomatic carriers. Even if it turns out that the woman's husband isn't actually the father, they'd have been conceived around mid-October, which is way too early. The babies were tested 4 hours after birth too, which doesn't really leave any time for them to have become infected post-partum. Considering that they were triplets, one assumes that the odds of the babies having been accidentally switched is almost nil.

My wife suggests that maybe the wife tested with a false negative, my thought is that the parents probably received multiple tests to eliminate that possibility. But that article is annoyingly vague.

Fascinating story, though. It will be interesting to see how it develops.
