So, the Ayatollah, Louis Farrakhan, and the Chinese government - their opinions are all allowed on Twitter. Donald Trump and his supporters, however, are silenced. This is how democracy is slowly strangled.

I was amused at the time, to see how the soi-disant “Nation of Islam” is utterly rejected by Islam proper and has never been in ummat al-muʼminīn, the Commonwealth of Believers.

It's just ripping off the name, basically.

Nation of Islam started in Detroit, I think, in 1924. But yeah,it seems to be more or less a black street gang, rather than any expression of faith.

Twitter is a business, not a government entity. They impose terms of service in whatever way they think benefits making money. Twitter never was a democracy.

That's true, so far as it goes. However, Twitter (and the other social networking sites) are allowed to operate under a law that grants them immunity for what's posted, on the theory that they're a common carrier, with no editorial responsibility. They've obviously twisted that all out of shape.
