Every Now and Then...
Feb. 22nd, 2013 06:23 pmFrom last summer, overlooked at the time: Eagle bondage! She looks to be a rather young Eagle, with all that mottling still on her wings.

So... On the Stones album "Their Satanic Majesties Request", there are a number of sound samples, which was an unusual, if not groundbreaking, practice in 1967. One of them is certainly the whooosh sound of the City Pendulum from the movie 'Wizard of Mars', a great favourite of mine, and one that had only been released a few years earlier. Tonight, listening to Arch Oboler's Lights Out radio show from Feb 9th, 1943 (We Dug it Up), I think I hit another. The cry "All ready!" that precedes the song "Rainbow" comes from one of the workmen raising the coffin, I'm reasonably sure.
