Bank Card, and Tractor
Sep. 3rd, 2020 09:03 pmThe numbers on my new bank card are simply printed flat - no embossing. I don't think I've ever had a flat one. It makes me nervous about what will happen if the card needs to be run through one of those things that prints a copy on carbon paper, although, realistically, I think I've maybe had one or two of those done in the past 20 years or so. Time marches on.
I vaguely, vaguely, as a child, recall adults having paper credit cards ("charge cards") that the clerk had to copy the numbers from.

It's Thursday, and I still don't have my new tractor. Deal's closed, paperwork has been delivered and everything, but tractor isn't here yet. Mine got bumped off the truck to accomodate some sort of farm machinery. It's annoying, but on the other paw, I do have to agree that actual farmers should have shipping priority over lawn and garden users, so...
