So, if you're wanting a booster shot, but don't feel like risking an eight month delay: Providers *are* required to request either your SSN or driver's license. You don't have to give it. They must administer the shot anyway, whether or not you comply. They don't lose out on their reimbursement either - the govt pays them just the same so long as they certify that they asked.

Since it's becoming clear the shots do not prevent infection, transmission, serious illness or death, why would anyone want to voluntarily turn their body into a growth medium for toxic, blood clot-forming spike proteins every few months? Asking for a friend. :)

There're always boosters, since immunity decays slowly over time. That's a normal expectation.

Well, the vaccines (and especially Moderna, which I was fortunate to get) do help. They lessen your chances of getting the disease, and they lessen the severity if you do get it anyway. The odds of having a severe reaction or other effect from vaccine are much less than the odds of getting sick if unvaccinated. Also, I'm 60 years old, and something is bound to kill me eventually, if not a tree falling on me, them something less dramatic. Long-term effects aren't really a worry for me. Were I 20, I'd be MUCH more cautious in my decision-making. As it is, I'm cool with being experimented upon in what I perceive to be a limited-risk manner.
