So, they've decided to dissolve Desmond Tutu in a strong lye solution, then smash up his bones. Srsly. No word on how they'll dispose of the resulting toxic pink sludge, and it's also unclear why the bones will be mechanically smash-ed (say it in your Dexter's Laboratory voice) instead of dissolved in acid for thematic consistency. The 'cheap wooden coffin' is apparently just lumber wasted on a weird sort of reverse ostentation, then.

Oh yeah, aquamation. It's all the rage. I know of a place in town that does that. I think my coworker took that route after he retired. Free advice: don't retire.

Okay. I had no idea this was a thing. I thought it was something weird they dreamed up just for him. I don't get out much.

I've recently un-retired, actually, and am working part-time again :)
