Date: 2004-02-17 09:31 pm (UTC)I think I've seen films of this festival. It's pretty brutal, really. The kitestrings are dipped in glue, then into broken glass, and there's an ongoing competition to tangle and cut everyone else's strings. I could easily see that slashing some girl's throat if she got tangled. :-/
