rain_gryphonMax came by, and we finally got the couch and desk over to Thalyn's place. Thalyn's got a huge mastiff named Francis. He was all hostile and barky and stuff at first, since he didn't know either one of us, but as soon as he realized we were Thalyn's friends then he whined, and was all sorry and embarassed, which was cute in a dog that large.
Thalyn lives in what's basically a huge hippie house, down in the University district, with artwork all over the walls. I used to spend a lot of time in places like this in the 70s :) I also got to see the Big Basket o' Kitties, five of them, just born yesterday, all cuddled up with the momcat. Momcat's got this cute, cat-shaped waterdish.
I'm debating if I want to put the waterbed back together. Flaster never did much like it, the way it slops around. Now that I'm sleeping on a pallette again, he's taken to curling up with me to sleep, which he didn't much do with the waterbed.
