I've discovered an online repository of Edith Nesbit books with which I keep myself occupied at work, since there's so very little to do these days. I'm currently re-reading 'The Phoenix and the Carpet'. I'm reprising my childhood crush on the Phoenix. Robert, the human, seems by turns completely oblivious to or embarassed by the fact that the good, beautiful Phoenix completely adores him. You want to swat Robert now and again for being a bit of a doofus.
