It's Fox Guys' Day! Blow up your neighborhood Fox Guy!

*****

I need to find time to see a movie. I've got four of those free movie passes that they give away at work, to the uber-excellent AMC Easton 30. I'd like to have seen 'Sky Captain', but I seem to have waited too long. That happens to me a lot with movies. :/

*****

There's a movie now about Ray Charles, which leaves me sort of nonplussed. He's a good piano player, but I can't stand the man's singing. He's got an atrocious voice.

*****

Q. Why does Ray Charles wear yellow socks?
A. His Dog's blind too. :)

One of my recently fired cow orkers has just been described as being "like an extra from a Cheech and Chong movie". Sadly, it's true. The guy *wanted* to do a good job, but it wasn't just that he knew little to nothing about computers. He just completely lacked any capacity for logic or systematic problem solving. He seemed reasonably intelligent, but he just wasn't there in some respects. Cheech and Chong is a striking comparison.

Poor Lizard has just discovered that there're scarey furries where he works! Little does he suspect just how many are here...

Try the Incredibles. It looks like fun.

I'm looking forward to the opportunity, myself. The trailers have looked like fun, they've got a good voice cast, and the director's Brad Bird, of The Iron Giant. Add in Pixar's fairy dust, and it shouldn't be bad. (Indeed, RottenTomatoes - who, I'm sad to note, have taken to Onion-style presentation of an ad before you can proceed to the actual site - have the movie listed with a fairly uncommon freshness rating of 96%; Wired's review (http://www.wired.com/news/digiwood/0,1412,65599,00.html) is fairly gushing)

Ray was a good movie, I enjoyed it. I'm afraid I can't agree with you about Ray Charles' voice. =)

Everyone else I know seems to love his voice, yeah. I've never claimed to be a representative sample :)

Ooh, bagsy O'Reilly! He looks like he's about to explode anyway. ^_^

They fired said cow-orker? Seems like prime manglement material.

Would've been nice, I think, to have more furriness where I've worked.. still, I've always been entirely open about it, and everyone's been cool with it. Trilobyte especially, where I was asked to introduce myself on my first day as Red.

Well

Given a camera pointed toward it, a cow will often ORK.

See here for the proof!

You're only including that because ferrets (like rabbits) look as adorable in such photos as normally, admit it. ^_^

My gods! Someone actually spelled out what the SDM refers to, and claims to live? They're just a bunch of softies these days.. probably don't even charge any more for the ironware when they nail someone's head to the floor. What are things coming to?

For more adventures, if you've not come across the site, try Enter the Cow-orker (http://members.optusnet.com.au/white_gold/index.html). Then try reading more than four entries in a row without thinking of the saintly restraint exhibited in not utilising the flexibility of cyanoacrylates in more permanently attaching said colleague to her phone.

Herd tale of a cow-orker that is so air headed that at least one coworker (that I know of) calls her "Breezy".
