Then, after...

They're finding dead babies right and left in Europe these days:
Baby remains find shocks France
Dead babies find shocks Germany
Austrian frozen babies examined

Jean Todt has screwed around and lost Rubens Barichello, I see. :P

I now have a new fascination, courtesy of
spaceroo: The Haw Par Villa. It's this bizarre sort of morally instructional amusement park built by the guys who invented Tiger Balm.
I'll most assuredly be using more Tiger Balm in the future, if that's what the profits are going to maintain. Most rich people seem to want to isolate themselves anymore - it's refreshing to hear of one who enjoyed his wealth, and wanted others to do so as well. There's apparently another, smaller Tiger Balm Garden in Hong Kong.
I just like Tiger Balm anyway. It smells like ballet class :)

We've been given a new sammich vending machine at work. It takes debit cards, which is convenient. It's got a big advertising banner stuck to it touting its manifold benefits, among which is "multiple purchases with one swipe!" When you're done buying sammiches, you have to press a button that says "done" to stop it charging purchases to your card. How convenient. I can't imagine any way that could go wrong.

Date: 2005-08-04 12:46 pm (UTC)Somehow I'm not sure I want to know how you know what a ballet class smells like. Although I'm sure it's an interesting story. ;^>
I don't cotton much to "Balm" of any sort myself. I'm generally more then greasy enough without it.

Date: 2005-08-04 03:16 pm (UTC)The truly interesting aspect of ballet (at least in retrospect) is that after a while, you become a sort of 'honourary girl', and then you get to see how they really act.
