Brass Grackles
Aug. 17th, 2005 05:59 amThings that have been said by me or to me at various times in my life, that were absolutely hilarious at the time, but make little to no sense outside of context:
"Boomers. I'm dyin'..."
"You may be d'Artagnan, but I'm the twenty-nine sword medusic!"
"Should there be smoke coming out of it?"
"Whoa. That was cool."
"I did that on purpose."
"Give me back my boob. NOW!!!"
"Her nose is cold."
"Four. No, three, actually..."
"Avec!"
"I Hell you hot!"
"Du kannst helfen."
"If you're wondering who we are..."
*****
My suspicions are confirmed. The Power Rangers are evil.

From a comentary on Till Eulenspeigel: "If [the humour] seems rather strange, try to picture a 25th century audience watching Laurel and Hardy." I love that image.

These guys made a ship out of popsicle sticks. In an odd bit of synchronicity, the Giant Weasel has little bags of those on display now in several aisles, on those little impulse buy hangers that jut out. I'm tempted to build a computer case or something.

From this months edition of DUH! magazine: When given information, people will generally use it to advance their own self-interest rather than an NGO's pet social theories. Who'd a thunk it?
