Someone's making a proper science fiction movie. It's rare these days that I like any SF films. There's been this complete shift of sensibilities in SF from plot to action and special effects. It's nice to see someone trying to return to the 1950s style, not as satire or homage, but as a serious film-making style. I hope it spreads.
