Aug. 20th, 2005 01:55 amSo, the doom of Judge Crater now seems to have been revealed. It's interesting to know, but in a way I'm disappointed. Unsolved mysteries are always more fun. I (along with many others) dread the day someone will provide a definitive proof for the Whitechapel murders. The fun is in the speculating, not the knowing. On the other paw, it's kind of neat that there's been a famous dead guy beneath the Coney Island board walk all these years.

Ratzinger seems to have been caught holding the smoking gun in a child molestation case. It's interesting that he immediately castled up and claimed diplomatic immunity instead of protesting his innocence.

I see where the villainous, yet incompetent, Arabs tried to blow up the new Kearsarge and missed. My uncle Billy served on the old Kearsarge, that picked up the Mercury astronauts.
