It looks like Biloxi and Gulfport took the majority of the hammering yesterday, just as they did in 1969.

Adrian Cimarosti claims in "History of Motor Racing" that the first 24-hour race took place right here, in Columbus, in 1905. I'll have to see what can be learned of that.

Edit: And apparently it's true. http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=179231&FS=HISTORY Barney Oldfield himself drove in it. :)

My mom's Cat Cleocatra (aka Cat from Hell) likes to sit in the bathtub. She takes her toys in there, and swats them up the side of the tub, so they come back to her.

My first response is to say "That's mean!", but having spent most of my life around Cats, I'm sure that if I were sleeping in the sink the same idea would occur to the Cat.

*nods* Having a cat persona does not mean that I view cats in the same way as someone who has cats and pampers them to the extent that their life is based around what the cat wants to do at that moment. It means I tend to view them as another cat would, and yes you're probably right, that's exactly what the Cat would be thinking of. ;-)

If I did soak them in a confined space in their sleep, I would know that cat would never ever EVER trust me again, so that thought would always make me stop at the last moment. Rest assured, I would never really do it.
