This looks like a good company overall. Among their other products, they have action figures of famous composers, Sherlock Holmes, Oscar Wilde, Pope Innocent III, and Marie Antoinette (with ejecting head). These are more interesting than the action figures I used to get as a kid.

Date: 2006-01-04 07:30 pm (UTC)There're so many astonishing things here, all in one place. The glow from inside Merapi's lava dome, the blue sulphur flames shooting out from under the crust, and the barbell lightning display. These are things you read about and see drawings of, but seldom photos.
It doesn't hurt either that he's at Merapi and Tengger, both of which impress me deeply with their cartoonlike potential for widespread destruction.

Same as the shirt contest, but grayscale is also permissable (as well as
short stories and poetry).
