I used to have one of those mechanical analog computers, too. Bought it from the Edmund Scientific catalog back around '65. Never did figure out just what it could be useful for, tho...

I never had a DigiComp 1.0.  I was thinking about getting a DigitComp 2.0 but then I realized my kids would probably lose interest in it after about a week (no fancy graphics! no AI computer player!) and after that it would take up rather a lot of space in the house.
