A Krazy Kat cartoon. Look at the lower right - I can only assume that "brick top" is some obscure, long-forgotten insult. Does anyone know for sure?

I know it as a generally fairly mild insult aimed at people with ginger hair; not common, but not entirely obscure either. Hard to tell whether that's relevant in a black and white strip, though!

My guess it's a reference to being "thick as a brick", or stupid.
