It looks like the clink for Tom Noe. It's odd how much time Ohio seems to spend in the international spotlight anymore.

Fark's photoshop featured a "14 pound civil war projectile". I'm inordinately pleased that I recognized it as a James shell. It's a pity there's not some good way to make money from a knowledge of obscure Victorian artillery.

OSU beat Michigan 42 to 39 Saturday. That night's 4-digit state lottery number (drawn at random) came up 4239.

It'd be nice if Ron Goldman would just take a gun and shoot OJ about 25 or 30 times. I don't think any jury would convict him.

The Wheels of Retardation are spinning busily at Taco Bell. They're offering $12,500 worth of free food coupons to anyone who will give them a PS3, so they can donate it to charity.

The Hitler Channel had a nice special about the Mayflower. They made the pilgrims seem much less humorless and insane than they're usually portrayed.

Woo! They're theming the Christmas decorations at the Stoat House for 1861 this year. I'll have to make a point of seeing that.

And I need to pay closer attention to their website. They apparently fired the 1864 guns for Armistice Day. :P

The History Channel. It gained the sobriquet The Hitler Channel back around '98-'99 or so, when every single show involved Hitler in some fashion. Erfy the Foxboi and I once watched for 10 hours straight, and Hitler was in every single show. And it wasn't just passing mention, either - they had to show at least several seconds of Hitler waving his arms and shouting, and then stormtroopers goosestepping along. Their working theory seemed to be that Hitler was the central figure of history, and the historical context of any event could be best understood by its relationship to Hitler. They've since gotten away from that, but the name stuck.

"...will give them a PS3, so they can donate it to charity."

Are there even any damn games for the stupid thing yet??

Good Lord, and I thought I had no life.

I have to assume that there are games, although I've yet to hear any mentioned. No-one really cares about the games. They all want the hardware. And it just breaks my brain that they're going to give somebody $12,500 worth of food so they can have a $600 toy to donate to the poor. I suppose it says something there that the great problem of the poor in America is that they lack the latest electronics, and their benefactors are willing to trade 21x value in food to acquire them.
