No more misplacing your flash drive.

One of the reasons that I like the Colts is that the coach, the team and the vast majority of the fans keep sports in their proper perspective. It's a refreshing change from the savage, victory at all costs attitude that most modern sports teams seem to encourage.

Tony Dungy has that whole mellow 'Indiana' thing going :) In many ways, Indiana has remained rooted in the 50s and 60s.

I'm generally opposed on principle to murder, but some seem to be more justifiable than others.

Cogent commentary on the asinine nature of American sports coverage.

This would be funny if it weren't so sad. You've got people with an incurable, communicable disease, and it apparently requires endless debate and an extraordinary act of government to have them quarantined, because it might violate their 'human rights' to stop them from infecting others.

It snowed heavily Sunday. I made one brief trip in the afternoon to get more catfood, but spent the rest of the day inside. Snow days are nice to have when you can just lie around and admire the blowing flakes and grey, indirect light.

What a shitty collection of mascots :P

Sigh. I apparently de-activated my credit card by using it to renew a domain with an address that I've not occupied for some five years. That's all I can figure. It works fine as a debit card, or with the CVV, but is no longer honoured as a regular CC. I should prolly be grateful that the bank is that vigilant.

I'm waiting to see pictures from FC. I wanna see how Findra's pink bunny turned out!

I'm giving thought to taking a week off work this August, and spending every day at the Stoat Fair. I need to work on my pickle recipe if I'm going to enter that. The first batch were okay (and turned out surprisingly crunchy) but no prize-winners.

I should prolly enter the Teddy Bear competition as well. That's at least something I have prior experience in.

I have yet to develop a compelling reason to put anything on a flash drive, so I don't have any problems with losing them.

Is it just me, or is there furry pokemorn pornography that's drawn with more talent and attention to detail than those "mascots"?

And...

P-p-p-pink BUNNY??!!? =8)~~~~

I've always thought that big corporations had the worst mascots. I guess this just confirms that the bigger you are and the more resources you have at your disposal, the less capable you are of finding someone with talent. I wonder how much those things cost them.

The pink bunny was quite cute, and everyone seemed to like it. But then again, there'd be something seriously wrong with anyone who wouldn't like pink bunnies.

It's like no large company can have just a plain, normal mascot anymore. It's never "This is Bob the Bear. He's a bear who wears a tee with our logo on it, and we think he looks pretty cool. Please buy lots of Bob the Bear stuff." Now the mascots have to symbolize fifty different positive values, and have an inspiring backstory, and have meaningful names, *and* they have to look like nothing else on earth, because heaven forfend that anyone might ride their coattails by selling a similar-looking stuffed toy that wasn't officially licensed. The end result is that you end up with mascots that nobody really finds cute or appealing, but you've allowed the committee members to be 'creative', and you've kept small businesses from profitting, even if you had to kill your own souvenir sales to do it.

I want to see pictures of the Bunny!

Big corps suck for mascots. I've seen pokeslash that was better than that.
