Spirit of Speed is just what that Indy game reminds me of, actually. I didn't look too hard as the advertising website is infuriating, but judging by some of the gallery shots (and unsurprisingly given the consoles) they look to be going for the slightly more arcadey market. Put it this way: Grand Prix Legends it's not going to be! =:P

That's an atrocious website, yes. It doesn't help that half of the options are marked 'coming soon'. Still, I have hopes for the game. American racing has always been more about working the traffic than mastering the track, so the suspension setup won't play as important a role as in GPL. So long as it's not arcade-like to the point of being silly, I'll enjoy it.
