Dear Mr. President,
I'm writing to oppose the proposed Detroit bailout. I work hard for my money, and I hope you won't force me and others like me to subsidize $70 an hour assembly line workers. If there is to be a bailout, then please let it be under the terms proposed by Senator Corker. Otherwise, let them file for Chapter 11 like any other company.

It's still a month or so before I have to worry about him doing stupid stuff. He's certain to hear from me, though. I'm an inveterate writer of letters to politicians.
