Nor I, yet I think on the whole it's not a terrible outcome. Certainly Trump did better than any other first-term POTUS that I can think of. He's now got a few spare votes in the Senate to work with, and while the House is Democratic, it's by a very small majority in a body which is traditionally given to fractiousness to begin with (and a few of the new Dems are quite frankly incompetent, like Ocasio-Cortez - I have difficulty imagining her engaging in any sort of strategic behaviour). Trump's already indicated that if the House launches unwarranted investigations, etc, he'll come after them with all the tools he has, and I see no reason to doubt him.
