Maude's backstory.

Pirates pose with Michael Morones. I can just imagine him suddenly waking up at that moment, seeing himself surrounded by pirates, and having a heart attack.

Dr. Oetker's pizza prices here are now comparable to those in Britain - $4.00 at Meijer's, vs. £2.78 Tesco, which would be $4.14 here. They had initially started out much higher, more in the California Pizza Kitchen range.

Fortune has favoured me. Whilst poking about in Half Price Books, I found a CD of Eugene Ormandy's 1961 recording of Swan Lake. I went "Squee!". The CD itself is from 1989, so that's kind of an amazing find anyway. Ormandy is beyond any doubt my favourite Tchaikovsky conductor.

I'm well-pleased with it. I've been mildly obsessed with Swan Lake of late anyway.

I shall be extremely disappointed if Maud doesn't get at least a cameo in Rainbow Rocks. How could she not, in a film with a title like that?

Plus, they could give her a brilliant artist best friend, and thus complete the circle.

Aside from her being good rather than evil, this reminds me of my character Claire ("Least Noticeable") Quartz Pie, Pinkie's giant invisible twin sister, who takes more after their real father than does Pinkie.
