If there's a way to choose the channel for my wifi hotspot, I have yet to find it. Sadly, it seems to be a dedicated channel 11 device, so that it's in conflict with about half the wifi devices out there :/

Thank you for contributing content to (what's left of) LiveJournal.  There is no one else in my feed making non-dick references to Harambe, nor complaining about their Wi-Fi (what's your model number?), although Reddit is an alternative source for cat-astronaut photos.

This is one of the better anti-Trump protests I've seen, although really it isn't all that good.  "The concept of subspace warp damage was created by and for the Romulans in order to make UFP exploration non-competitive."  Why yes, subspace warp damage *is* supposed to be a metaphor for Global Warming!

Well, I was intending to be somewhat dickish about Harambe, so I may have failed, there. Regardless, I'm glad you're still here and interested, especially after I flaked out and vanished like I did.

The hotspot is a Unimax U240-C. I honestly think there's no way to change the channel, but if you can find one, I'd be impressed and grateful

Well, I found the manual, but the pictures are so grainy I can't even tell if there's a channel-setting someplace. Certainly they don't mention any such thing in the text.  There's also a button for "download software upgrade", but it seems to do exactly nothing.

No worries re flake-out.  It turns out I didn't really have any spare time in Ohio during my trip.
