I'm going to have to research how the 'organic' meal worms we buy for the bluebirds are processed. They say 'not for human consumption, but the dog loves to eat the spill over when I'm filling feeders.

Normally, they're grown in a closed container of oatmeal or cornmeal, with a slice of apple added to keep the humidity at a proper level. I've never eaton one (which is kind of odd, considering my general behaviour), but they shou;d be safe.

The last batch came from Amazon, from ‘QINGDAO AGRIHEATLH BIOTECH CO., LTD’ (please excuse Engrish) in China.
