World Tree?

Does anyone play World Tree anymore? Way back when, in '08 and '09, there were lots of online groups, and even a local FTF one, but my unpredictable schedule kept me from taking part. I managed one session, at Morphicon 2010, when we had Bard & Victoria Bloom for Gs of H, and that was it. Now, I'm actually able to set time aside every week, and I'd like to play, but there seems to be no more interest in the game. Anyone?

I have a copy of the game book, but the system was so.... difficult, I've never played it.

It was quite detailed, yes.

Addendum: I'm quite reluctant to try GMing myself because of the complexity of the rules. However, if I found someone, would you be interested in playing?

They did manage to make playing a fighter *way* harder than paying a wizard.

What really fascinates me about it isn't the mechanics of it, but the society. Magic plays a central role in it, of course, but the interactions of the primes and monsters, all subject to the whims of the gods, really catches my imagination. I should probably write fanfic under the circumstances, but I want to play.

I thought it was interesting that even the friendly non-primes were designed to challenge primes. Like the Norren whose purpose for existence seems to be to get primes to stop being so uptight about mentador.
