Dude got trapped in his grain bin. A not-uncommon misfortune, to be sure. I love how they never mention his name. It's considered kind of an embarassing thing to have happen to one.

A good hundred Geese passed over at 11:30pm. The Exodus is here! The Happy Ones draw near!

And now it's after midnight, and the Geese keep coming. Summer is over.

That's the shafts of the primaries creaking from stress, I'm pretty sure. I've had similar experiences with bags of chicken or goose feathers from the craft store. If you squeeze a mass of them gently, they make a kind of crunchy/squeaky sound like straw.
